Hailing from the Coventry area, Prog Rock band Luna Kiss are taking the local area, and the globe by storm. Creating their own brand of rock by fusing traditional elements from bands such as Pink Floyd, with complex time signatures and weird and broken chord structures, they have gained a great deal of credit and recognition; more recently securing a licensing deal with Ghoulish records, enabling them to release their first Album in Coventry and Solihull HMV stores mid 2011.

Well known tracks such as Stop this behaviour, are really easy on the ears, with pleasant electronic/synthy elements; sounding a lot like Mars Volta, meets Hendrix while others such as silver lines are really spaced out, serene and almost psychedelic: combining both western and eastern elements of music. After a long stint of gigs, they secured a battle of the bands win at Local bar Bostons, Far Gosford street. On top of that, they have been played on 16 radio stations, from Hawaii to Australia!

They enter the studio to start recording their debut album in Janurary, which will be a concept album based on the mind and schizophrenia. These guys are gaining more and more recognition literally every week, so check them out and keep your eyes peeled for the album progress, via twitter and the blog.
